Who doesn't love a good coffee?

Not long ago I had the urge to reached out to Deja Brew Coffee House & Bakery in Tiffin, Iowa to see if they were in need of any product photos and wouldn't you know it, they were. The universe must have been aligning the planets for us to land in each other's inboxes at just the right time.

Around the time I reached out, I seen that they weren't just brewing coffee, but they were also brewing up an additional location which happens to be a short walk from my house. Now when I say short, I mean short enough to walk in any type of weather short, so imagine my excitement!

When I first met Kara and Lucas, I knew that they were my kind of people. A few things tipped me off but their love of coffee, pastries, cats and dogs sealed the deal. I grabbed some product photos of their delicious baked goods at their home and then we headed to the coffee camper in Tiffin just west of the Clear Creek Amana High School. That day Kara was also training their only employee, Nikki, so imagine three of us trying to maneuver around each other in a space that was meant for one. While not easy, we did get to know each other pretty quickly. Hah! I also figured out that Nikki and I have a love of German Shepherds and had met before while I was out on a walk with my GSD. Like I needed another sign that we were meant to collaborate?!

Fast forward to last weekend which was the grand opening of their Oxford, Iowa location. I couldn't get over there fast enough and even my elementary aged kids wanted to head over for their delicious hot chocolate. What makes their Oxford location so unique is that it's tucked inside the cutest vintage shop called the Annex. It was quite the treat grabbing some additional photos of their Oxford location while I sipped (ok, I gulped) down their cold brew.
